Production

Professional video, photo and film production

We will produce creative assets that express your brand well and inspire your customers to action.

Our approAch to production

Create meaningful visuals not useless content.

Stories not facts

As humans, we want to know what happened and how it impacted people, not the unnecessary details. So, whether it's a brand story or a short documentary or even an ad, we strive to focus on human-based stories, rather than technicalities.

Classic not trendy

The visual pieces we create are meant to be assets to your business that will last for years, not trendy baubles that will look dated by next year. Stay current for years by starting off with a classic approach to production.

Risky not boring

While we take a classic approach to production, we also have a viewpoint. There's nothing worse than looking at a photo or video and having it be so ordinary that people forget about it instantly. We find a balance between intriguing and crazy.

Quality not cheap

Everything can be done for cheaper by someone, somewhere. We prefer to find a middle ground that understands money can be tight but that quality is also important. We won't sacrifice quality for cost but we also won't blow out your budget.

Rich not sparse

There are so many details that go into any production, from wardrobe to lighting to set design, to camera work, and on and on. All of these areas deserve to be focused on, and create a rich final product, and we strive to do just that.

Distributed not forgotten

It's frustrating when you work hard on a project, one email featuring it goes out and then it's forgotten forever. We hate it too, so we'll help develop a distribution strategy that makes sure your story is seen broadly and told repeatedly.

Our Values

We'll define it, create it and leverage it for growth.

Three
Guiding
Principles
Beauty
Creative Direction

We walk with you as we define what a project should look and feel like, and what it should say–whether that’s a new website, a video or a series of product photos. Vision is key.

Functionality
Quality Production

Each piece in a puzzle contributes to the quality of the whole. The same is true for each piece of a website or a video project or a photograph. We strive for quality in every aspect of production.

Growth
Strategic Integration

It isn’t enough to have a shiny new product like a website or a video. We’ll help develop a plan so you can use it to achieve your goals and grow your business.

Typical Project Timeline

Here's what it would look like to work together.

Week 1
Discovery & Strategy

We have discussions with you to understand your brand, target audience, and goals. In this stage, we do more listening that speaking. We will analyze competitors, gather insights, and develop a strategic roadmap. This will inform the direction of the project and will help us create a vision and a strategy.

WeekS 2-3
Pre-Production

We will develop and present a concept to you, whether it be for a video or photo shoot, then develop that into a fully-fleshed out project. This could include many things depending on the complexity of the project, from a script and storyboards, to set design, prop selection, wardrobe preparation and everything in between.

Week 4
Production/Photo Shoot

This is the stage where we translate the concept/script/storyboard to real life. We light, shoot video and photos, and capture audio, all to make the ideas jump off the page and into the real world. Shoot days can be pretty complex, but we'll guide you right through it, don't worry.

Weeks 4-5
Editing/Post-Production

We take the raw materials that we created during production and continue to refine them through the post-production/editing phase. Generally, in this step, we build the story, make the clips flow together, and spice them up with music and color correction. This is when all of the ingredients come together to sing as one.

Weeks 5-6
Distribution

This is where the world gets to see what we cooked up! We'll get you your final files and help you understand how to use them most effectively. If we're building a website or additional marketing materials for you, we'll integrate them throughout the project so that it has a cohesive feel.

Consider an Ongoing Relationship

Our world is one full of content, content, content. Social media is the beast that never sleeps. But it's also how people know that your business is still thriving. So, if you want help developing a strategy for content creation in an ongoing relationship, we can help! We want to partner with you to help people get to know your brand and it's difficult to do that without photo and video content. We're committed to being your partner in success beyond the initial project completion stage, so let's keep the conversation going.

Let's make it happen.
